Warranty

Ironclad Shelter Solutions offers the following 5 Year Warranty for the above-ground steel tornado shelter (the "Product") to the original purchaser, subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein.

I. Coverage and Duration

• 5 Year Coverage: The Product's core steel structure and construction are warranted against defects in material and craftsmanship for 5 years to the original purchaser, under reasonable and intended use.

• Remedy for Defects: In the event a defect in construction or craftsmanship (e.g., broken weld, faulty hinge) is substantiated, Ironclad Shelter Solutions, at its sole discretion and expense, will repair or replace the defective component or the Product itself.

II. Exclusions and Voidance

The following circumstances and conditions are expressly excluded from this warranty or will void the warranty entirely:

• Misuse or Intentional Damage: Any damage resulting from the use of the Product other than as intended, or from intentional, malicious, or negligent acts, will void this warranty.

• Natural Occurrences: Damage caused by Acts of God, including but not limited to, severe weather events such as tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, structural settling of the property, or fire.

• Installation, Relocation or Modification: Installation, relocation, modification, or reinstallation of the Product by any person or entity other than authorized Ironclad Shelter Solutions personnel or retailers, or without the explicit prior written consent of the Company, shall void this warranty.

III. Non-Structural Components Warranty

The following non-structural components carry a specific, separate warranty:

• Locking Mechanisms: S&G Digital locks are covered by a one (1) year replacement warranty provided by Ironclad Shelter Solutions, effective from the date of original purchase. This warranty supersedes any concurrent manufacturer's warranty during this initial year.

IV. Maintenance and Aesthetics

• Surface Rust: Given that the Product is constructed entirely of solid plate steel, the occurrence of minor surface oxidation (surface rust) may occasionally be observed. This is considered normal and does not compromise the structural integrity or performance of the tornado shelter/safe room.

• Owner Responsibility: The maintenance of the Product's protective coating is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. It is recommended that any minor scratches or areas exhibiting surface rust be promptly treated by the homeowner using an acrylic or epoxy-based protective paint to maintain the aesthetic finish.

• Moving Parts: The maintenance/lubrication of the Product's Barrel Hinges and Sliding Latch Pins is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. It is recommended that Barrel Hinges be lubricated using general purpose grease and Latch Pins be lubricated using dry graphite lube.
